850sq ft space on Madison Avenue to house exclusive collections.
Luxury jeweller Fabergé has opened its first New York-based boutique on the city’s famous Madison Avenue – something it has dubbed “a new chapter in its geographic repertoire”.
The 850sq ft boutique will house Fabergé’s high and fine jewellery collections as well as its timepieces, cufflinks and silverware.
The new space has been designed to be jewel-like in its appearance, and continues to the design themes in its flagship Geneva store with silk curtains and wall panels, brushed oak flooring, a palette of silver, grey and purple and an exterior facade designed to mimic the lattice of the Coronation Egg, one of Fabergé’s most legendary of its Imperial Easter Eggs.
To celebrate the store opening and Fabergé’s historic links with America and its grand families – the Vanderbilts, Forbes and Morgans amongst others – the Madison Avenue boutique will also play host to an exclusive jewellery collection, Les Précieuses de Fabergé, a tribute to the style of America’s Gilded Age society and will include a range of single-stone cocktail rings.
The New York store joins Fabergé’s other boutiques in Geneva, London’s Mayfair, Harrods as well as outlets at Lane Crawford in Hong Kong and the Fabergé online boutique.
