Jeweller to celebrate iconic egg with 3D projection at London store.
Fabergé will return to London department store Harrods in March for an exclusive interactive pop-up event.
The brand will celebrate its iconic egg shape through a 3D moving projection, showcasing its most famous egg creations, plus four window displays on Brompton Road. Additionally, Fabergé egg designs will be available to purchase at the specially-created Egg Bar.
In an unusual twist, customers will be able to use Fabergé ‘Interactive Desk’ to change the colour and patterns on the 3D, projected egg – giving visitors a hands-on experience.
The Fabergé Egg Bar will offer the house’s signature egg pendant and charm designs, from the quilted gold Treillage and gem-set Spiral, to the guilloché enamel Heritage and the vibrant Emotion.
A selection of new rings from the Devotion collection, set with coloured gemstones, will be exclusively available at Harrods. In addition, the pop-up boutique will house a consultation area for clients to discuss private commissions and personalised orders.
For the duration of the pop-up activity, Harrods Rewards card holders will be invited to take part in a Fabergé Egg Hunt inside the department store, where giant eggs designed by artists for charity will be on display. Visitors who find the giant eggs can then register them into a specific smartphone application and enter into a prize draw to win one of three precious Fabergé jewelled pendants worth £16,000.
‘Fabergé at Harrods’ runs from March 3 to 28 2015 at Harrods.
