Luxury house Fabergé has officially been named a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council.

As an RJC Member, Fabergé is committed to, and independently audited against, the RJC Code of Practices – an international standard on responsible business practices for diamonds, gold and platinum group metals. The Code of Practices addresses human rights, labour rights, environmental impact, mining practices, product disclosure and mare more important topics in the jewellery supply chain.

“We are delighted that the RJC has recognised Fabergé’s efforts to create beautiful products in a responsible and transparent way,” says the firm’s managing director, Anthony Lindsay. “This certification demonstrates to our customers that we are committed to crafting the finest creations with minimal impact on the environment whilst also adhering to responsible business practices and supply chains. Our customers can rest assured that when they invest in a Fabergé piece, they are supporting positive change within the jewellery industry.”

Fabergé is a member of the Gemfields Group – a world leading supplier in responsibly- sourced gemstones.

Fabergé incorporates gemstones from Gemfields’ mines in Mozambique and Zambia into its creations. Gemfields’ overriding principle is to ensure that their gemstones give back to the people of Africa by mining with transparency, legitimacy and integrity.
