Luxury jewellery house Fabergé has put the spotlight on colour for its latest jewellery collection and campaign.
For Fabergé’s new range of engagement rings emeralds, rubies and sapphires – the classic and legendary gemstone trinity – take the place of diamonds in a colourful renaissance of the age-old commitment to enduring love.
To coincide with the launch of the new collection, the jewellery house has created a #sayyesincolour film, which depicts the emotional response sparked by three different engagement proposals, each corresponding with one of the three gemstones.
The film also explores the spirituality and intuition of emeralds, the passion and devotion of rubies, and the sincerity and faithfulness of sapphires, allowing each couple to reflect the unique emotional significance of their journey and bond.
The new collection also gives a nod to Fabergé’s heritage by the incorporation of the brand’s venerated gold-fluting technique in each ring.
In addition, each engagement ring and wedding band conceals, on the inside of each band, an additional gem of matching colour. The gemstone touching the wearer’s skin symbolises an unbroken bond between partners.
Throughout the campaign Fabergé will be encouraging consumers to share their engagement story online with the hash tag – #sayyesincolour.
