Auction house positioning ring at Chinese market; could fetch £100k.
Fellows auction house in Birmingham is set to auction an 8.88ct emerald cut diamond ring at its auction of Antique & Modern Jewellery on May 16.
The ring is the highlight of the sale, with Fellows positioning it at Chinese jewellery collectors as eight is considered to be a lucky number in Chinese culture.
The H colour and VS2 clarity diamond is accompanied by a report from the GIA. The ring is expected to fetch between £70,000 to £100,000.
