Retailer reports clients entering stores to try on jewellery.

London contemporary jewellery retailer Kabiri has noticed an uplift in festive pre-shopping.

Kabiri co-owner and buyer Nathalie Kabiri said that a lot of its customers have been visiting stores to try on jewellery in the run up to Christmas.

Kabiri said: “We have noticed lots of pre shopping. Lots of clients in store trying on.”

Despite a “slowish” September, Kabiri said that the mini chain experienced good trading over the summer – particularly with its international shoppers.

She said: “We had a great summer but more with our internationals so hopefully this will translate to a good Christmas.”

Kabiri has two London stores in Covent Garden and on Marylebone High Street as well as a concession in Selfridges on the city’s Oxford Street. The retailer stocks a range of contemporary jewellery designers from Gurhan to Jayce Wong.
