Today is the deadline to tell us about your retail superstars.
Today (June 13) is the final day to nominate your outstanding jewellery retail staff for Professional Jeweller’s inaugural Shop Floor Stars project, which recognises and celebrates individuals who have dedicated themselves to impeccable customer service.
Nominations will close at midnight, so now is your last chance to enter Professional Jeweller’s inaugural retail campaign. Professional Jeweller has received nominations from leading bricks-and-mortar and digital retailers across the UK, having launched the project on May 7.
Those retail staff members nominated will be whittled down to a group of 20 Shop Floor Stars, who will be praised in the August issue of Professional Jeweller, with one exceptional individual crowned the Professional Jeweller Shop Floor Star 2014, based on their achievements and feedback from colleagues.
We are calling for UK-wide jewellery retailers to nominate colleagues, managers or staff members that they believe have gone above and beyond to ensure the best levels of customer satisfaction, whether customer-facing or working in roles at online or mail-order jewellery companies.
Professional Jeweller editor Kathryn Bishop said: "We regularly hear great things about retail and customer service staff from the brands and retailers they work for, so thought it was time these outstanding individuals won recognition from the wider industry.
"Shop Floor Stars is a chance to nominate top managers, supervisors, shop floor staff and customer service champions that go the extra mile or are steller performers in their role. We can’t wait to see who you nominate for the debut Shop Floor Stars, and the excellent reasons why."
HOW TO NOMINATE
To nominate an individual please email Professional Jeweller assistant editor Sarah Jordan (firstname.lastname@example.org) with the following information:
● Your name and job title and the name and job title of the person you are nominating, plus the retail store they work for, including town/city.
● In 300 words or less explain what makes the nominee a fantastic customer service professional. This can include examples of where they’ve gone the extra mile for a customer, the standards they work to in their role, positive influence on other staff and the store, and their involvement in the training and support of others.
Entries must be in by midnight on June 13. Twitter users can share their nominations or encourage others to enter using the hashtag #ShopFloorStars.
