Plans afoot at brand to widen and deepen product range in 2013.

Jewellery brand Fiona Paxton is set to develop a men’s collection next year.

To date the brand has specialised in creating colourful beaded jewellery for women, but has plans to extend its reach into the men’s market.

Fiona Paxton jewels were used to style men in a fashion shoot for the most recent issue of Bullett magazine with colourful necklaces layered.

The brand said that the development of a men’s offer will be part of a wider inititative to “widen and deepen the product range” at Fiona Paxton.

The brand’s eponymous founder Fiona Pacton, who was named as a Tresor Paris Trendsetter in the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 2012 in association with The Company of Master Jewellers, described the past year for the brand as successful.

Paxton said: “Growing the business during a recession is great. We expected a slow year but we have had great sell through in stores and lots of reorders.

“We have challenges everyday but that is all part of being in business and keeps you engaged and on your toes.”
