Shop double first as boutique will only sell own brand jewels.

Rox opened its first store in England this weekend in shopping centre Trinity Leeds.

The store is a double first for the retailer. Not only is the boutique its first in England, it is also the first shop to stock only Rox’s own brand jewellery.

Rox has invested £1 million in the new store, which has created 10 jobs. Managing director Kyron Keogh said that five more temporary jobs will follow as the store starts its festive recruitment process.

The store sells Rox-branded silver and diamond jewellery with price points ranging from £25 to £100,000. The store is also planning to launch a range of silver gifts in 2014.

In typical Rox style, the shop has been fitted with a champagne bar that will serve up Laurent-Perrier for its shoppers. Graven Images, which has been responsible for the retail chain’s other stores, has created the Trinity Leeds boutique.

Keogh said: “Trinity Leeds has quickly established itself as the key shopping destination in the city and when the opportunity came up, we knew this was the ideal spot.

“The combination of strong high street brands, great bars and restaurants makes Trinity Leeds an exciting, vibrant shopping experience. With Christmas on the horizon we are confident this is the ideal time to launch in Leeds."
