Buyer confidence returns in third successful UK show of 2010

It seems that confidence is well and truly returning to the market. After a buoyant atmosphere at trade shows Top Drawer and Spring Fair, fashion accessories Pure London has made it a hat trick.

Anecdotal evidence supplied by the show’s organiser suggest that visitor numbers to the show were up 27% year on year on the opening day of the show, creating a record Sunday attendance.

Exhibitors at the show, however, were dived as to whether or not footfall was up on last year, but brands unanimously agreed that orders were being written and more business was being done compared with the same time last year.

Martick manager Lisa Saunders said: “It is the third show we have done in a row – we were at Top Drawer and Spring Fair – and we have done much better at all three shows than last year. Top Drawer was our best show ever.”
