Fope announced some of its 2020 novelties at Vicenzaoro in January, including the Flex’it gold chain as part of its Panorama collection, but the pieces only made it to a small number of retailers before the pandemic hit.

Now the Italian jeweller is re-releasing the new pieces to the post-lockdown world, starting with the Flex’it gold chain.

The mesh chain is the first Flex’it piece for a number of years, with Fope saying it took two years from sketches to the finished article for designers and goldsmiths to complete.

The 18 carat gold mesh features the signature Novecento style, while the result is a wider and finer chain.

The Panorama line is characterised by its flexible bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings.

Fope is also updating the Soho collection with two new variants on the gold mesh chain: a new rondel and an original bold design, available in yellow, white or rose gold with diamonds.

The Prima collection, meanwhile, will also get a brand new model of earrings and a different rondel design as well.
