Fossil revealed details of its first connected products during fashion shows in the US.

The debut line of wearable tech accessories created by the fashion brand in collaboration with Intel and Google has been given the name Fossil Q.

According to Fossil’s blog, a trio of Fossil Q ‘connected accessories’ were shown at the Baja East and Dion Lee fashion shows in New York including a connected bracelet and ‘non-display’ watch.

The bracelet will come in his and her styles, with a range of strap colours and materials available. The watches will also be available in various strap options too.

All the connected products will be compatible with both Android and iOS-based smartphone apps. Each piece has a companion app and activity tracker that allows you to track your daily movement, manage which notifications you want to receive and join a community of “curious-minded” individuals.

Fossil states that the Fossil Q range will be available in time for Christmas.
