Lebanese jewellery designer Gaelle Khouri has joined the luxury offering of contemporary fine jewellery at Auverture.com.
Founded by jewellery designer fellow Bibi van der Velden, Auverture specialises in unique, designer fine jewellery.
Khouri joins the likes of Fernardo Jorge, Venyx, Lydia Courteille, Delfina Delettrez, Pamela Love, Noor Fares and Bibi van der Velden.
A carefully curated selection of Khouri’s iconic pieces from her Soft Deconstruction and Garden of Earthly Delights collections are now available for purchase from the jewellery retailers.
Khouri, who is now based between London and Beirut, says designing jewellery allows her to express the “creative” side of her personality, having segued into design after working in economics and finance in New York and Beirut. Sensing she “wanted to do something different,” Khouri tested the water with internships at Oscar de la Renta in New York and Elie Saab in Beirut, before moving back to Beriut, and training in the art of jewellery making with Lebanese painter Bernard Renno.
