The House of Gübelin has unveiled its latest creation, a pair of chandelier earrings containing oval rubies and sapphires.
The earrings’ chandelier segment is detachable, enabling them to be worn as either studs or chandeliers.
They are inspired by both the colours of a desert rose and “the fascinating inner world” of a Mozambican ruby that the company scored at 90.2 Gübelin points on its precious stone rating system.
The Gübelin Gemstone Rating system was announced last month, with the company hoping to replicate the success of the ‘four Cs’ of diamond rating.
