Gemworld Munich launches exclusive trading area for 2016 show

Gemworld Munich, the gemstone and jewellery area at the Munich Show, has announced it will provide a separate business area for registered visitors at the event, running from 28 to 30 October 2016.

The Gemworld Professional area will be available for the duration of the show, and will only be open to registered trade visitors from the gemstone and jewellery industry.

The restricted area will be located behind the Gemworld Pavilion in Hall B6, and was arranged by the event organisers to accommodate the wishes of previous exhibitors and jewellers, who requested private, yet professional surroundings in which to conduct business.

Christoph Keilmann, managing director of the Munich Show says: “We believe that this specialist trade concept will strengthen and add to the show.”

In the past, Gemworld Munich has been open to the public on Saturday and Sunday, with jewellers, goldsmiths and designers only able to use the specialist trade day on Friday to strengthen business. Given that the trade show is an opportunity for suppliers can meet customers before the Christmas trade season, setting up Gemworld Professional is a “logical step for Gemworld Munich to meet the needs of its growing audience.”
