High street retailer to sell jewellery by emerging Brit designers.

Aurum multiple retailer Goldsmiths has teamed up with a group of emerging British designers in a new initiative called Best of British, launched to promote jewellery design talent on the high street.

The Best of British initiative will “celebrate the finest home grown jewellery design talent” and will launch with a limited edition collection this summer featuring specially selected jewellery designs from names including Daisy Knights, Laura Gravestock, Bobby White, Cinderela B, Alexis Dove, Joseph Lamsin, Sonya Bennett and Skulls & Orchids.


The collection will feature an eclectic mix of designs including nature-inspired collection by Sonya Bennett and Alexis Dove, and insect-inspired deisgns by Cinderela B.

Borth Gravestock and Lamsin will showcase collection with texture, inspired by locations such as Cornwall, Spain and the Middle East.

Daisy Knights, Bobby White and Skulls & Orchids are said to add edge to the collections with sterling silver skulls, crucifixes, quills and poison vials.

The Best of British project is part of Goldsmiths’ inititative to celebrate new talent in the British jewellery industry.

“The collaboration marks Goldsmiths ongoing commitment to supporting British design, providing a high street platform for both established and up and coming talent,” said a release form the brand.

The collection will be available online and at selected Goldsmiths showrooms nationwide.
