As the year draws to a close GVUK Design is celebrating five years in business.

Since taking over the Gemvision brand in the UK for Stuller, adding EnvisionTEC and more recently Coherent-Rofin, GVUK continue to build its client base with over 660 accounts.

Reflecting on the company’s success to date, GVUK Design says bringing in a business advisor two years ago has proved invaluable.

GVUK Design director, Graham Dicks, explains: “An important step we took two-years back was to bring in a business advisor, it’s not always easy opening up but having an honest review and challenging decisions and processes has proved to be invaluable. Our profit this year is up 8% on like-for-like sales, I wonder where we would be today if we had someone advising from day one?”

Looking ahead to next year, Dicks shares: “2019 will prove to be an exciting year as we add new packages and technology to our portfolio. Our aim is to ensure we only offer best-in-class technology solutions and this is proving itself with universities buying in to the brands we represent.”

Next year GVUK Design will roll out the 90% wax £D printer from EnvisionTEC, which prints around 30+ rings in under two-hours with unit cost of around £0.30 pence per ring making it one of the lowest cost professional 3D printers in the market.

In the summer the company will also launch MatrixGold Pro, which takes MatrixGold Essentials to the next level, combining the very best of Matrix, RhinoGold, Rhino 6 and Clayoo.
