Hallmarking up in July as silver soars

Assay Office Birmingham has compiled the hallmarking figures for July 2018, highlighting a 2% increase in the number of items assayed compared to the same period last year.

In total 711,547 items were hallmarked, with all metals taking a hit apart from silver which cited a 12.3% lift.
