Luxury department store Harrods has collaboration with fine jewellery brands to launch a ‘Celebration of High Jewellery’.

Teaming up with 19 brands from the likes of Boghossian, Mikimoto and Van Cleef & Arpels, Harrods will showcase new collections and exclusive designes during an exhibition which will run in store from August 3-19.

This year the exhibition will centre around the “beauty of colour” and each brand taking part has been invited to showcase striking colourful high jewellery pieces and those adorned with an array of vibrant stones.

Each piece of jewellery will be in keeping with this opulent theme, and the offering will be a combination of limited edition collections and exclusive one-of-a-kind designs.

The following brands will be participating: Graff, Harry Winston, Cartier, Bvlgari, Chanel, Van Cleef & Arpels, Chopard, De Beers, Piaget, Boucheron, Dior, Boodles, Tiffany & Co, Lorraine Schwartz , Glenn Spiro, Boghossian, David Morris , Chaumet & Mikimoto.

The exhibition will see new collections such as the new Chaumet est une fête collection inspired by opera evenings and aristocratic extravaganzas; sparkling moments and the roaring twenties, and the latest Faberge Secret Garden High Jewellery collection which is an ode to the natural world and evocative of Russian artist Mark Chagall’s depiction of flowers and rich bouquets.

Although the High Jewellery exhibition will be the main focus, the Fine Jewellery Room will also be transformed into a visual tribute to the inspiration behind each brands collection. Creative artworks and design sketches will take pride of place in the department mirroring the exceptional craftsmanship and elegance behind each piece of jewellery.
