Hartmanns of Galway tackles Connacht Rugby


Irish retailer to gift local team’s players with TAG Heuer watches.

Jeweller Hartmanns of Galway will present one of TAG Heuer’s Rugby World Cup 2011/12 watches to the Connacht Player of the Month, as it celebrates the sport.

The award will be presented monthly to Connacht players who have demonstrated exceptional skill on the pitch as well as displaying dedication to the club, integration with the squad and interaction with the wider community.

Speaking about the partnership Connacht Rugby’s commercial manager Fiona Keys said: “We are thrilled Hartmanns of Galway will be sponsoring our Player of the Month award with such an exclusive prize. Head Coach of Connacht Eric Elwood added: “The Player of the Month award is highly sought after within the squad as it reflects not just the hard work the guys do on the pitch but the contribution they make off the field as well.
