Meeting on January 15 to focus on local issues and making area a BID.

The British Jewellers’ Association (BJA) is set to hold a dedicated meeting on January 15 to discuss the future of London’s Hatton Garden diamond and jewellery district.

The meeting has been organised to allow Hatton Garden traders, retailers and businesses to discuss concerns or local issues impacting the area, while focusing on the potential of creating a Business Improvement District (BID) for Hatton Garden.

Research is ongoing as to how a BID could add impetus to the changes needed for the area, and key speakers will voice their concerns and discuss how the BID can be advanced during the meeting.

The BJA says all members of the industry are welcome to discuss matters surrounding Hatton Garden, as well as the BID, on January 15 at the ETC Venue at 51 Hatton Garden, London. The session will start at 5.15pm, followed by drinks for BJA National Committee members and hear about the specialist areas of the trade they represent.

Those interested in attending can register to attend via the BJA website, here
