Events to include manufacturing tent, Victorian rides and gem hunt.
The orgainsers of London Jewellery Week event The Hatton Garden Festival have revealed some of the highlights of this year’s festival.
During the weekend festival, London’s jewellery quarter will put on a host of family-friendly activities including cake decorating led by cult London bakery Konditor & Cook, a gem hunt, face painting, Victorian rides, stilt walkers and Punch and Judy shows.
Hatton Garden’s Jacobs Jewellery will be hosting a manufacturing tent where visitors can get an understanding of jewellery making. On display will be a mounter, setter, polisher, lapidary, watchmaker, engraver, enameller and silversmith. The jeweller will also open up its workshop to the jewellery trade on an invitation-only basis.
Barry Jacobs of Jacobs Jewellery said: "We will bring thousands of visitors to this historic jewellery quarter and affirm the area’s position as one of Europe’s leading jewellery retail destinations."
London Jewellery Week will take place from June 7 to 13.
