Hatton Garden Safe Deposit, the location of a £200 million jewellery heist during the April Easter weekend, has announced it has gone into liquidation.

Stella Davis of law firm Streets SPW has confirmed the company is insolvent and owes money to companies and individuals.

A total of 73 safe deposit boxes were smashed open during the raid, which saw burglars abseil down a lift shaft and drill through a concrete wall.

Nine men are due in court on September 4 charged with conspiracy to burgle.
