Hiho is working on the collection with young eventing star Emily King.
An equestrian themed collection is being launched at Brahman International Horse Trials from 3-6 June.
Jewellery company Hiho is to launch the collection in collaboration with young horse rider Emily King, daughter of Olympic event rider Mary King.
The company met King when it sponsored her six year old bay gelding, Mr Hiho, whilst she was participating in Three Day Eventing.
Hiho Managing Director Andrew Ransford said “As we got to know Emily better, we realised how passionate and creative she is, so we suggested developing a jewellery range together. Emily worked with my sister Caroline to design the range and we’re absolutely delighted with the result, which looks both sophisticated and has a touch of fun about it.”
The collection will include silver necklaces, bracelets and earrings, incorporating turquoise and amethyst stones chosen to reflect Emily’s Hiho cross country colours. Horse shoes, stirrups and riding boots are to be incorporated into the designs.
King said: “Our jewellery collection is amazing. I have always admired Hiho’s jewellery and creative ideas so to be part of the design process was incredibly exciting for me and an enormous honour.
The collection will be available to pre-order online from June 1, 2010.
