Nominations process causing a stir on social networks already.
Nominations for Professional Jeweller’s Hot 100 2012 are hotting up, with an exceptional calibre of nominations already being forwarded for consideration for this year’s most exciting jewellery industry celebration.
The nominations process is still open, and Professional Jeweller is encouraging industry members to continue to nominate the brands, retailers, designers and individuals they feel have contributed to the industry – those who have been the most forward-thinking, innovative and business savvy during the past year.
The reaction on social networks such as Twitter and Facebook has already been strong, with a number of designers and brands encouraging their followers to nominate them.
The nominations process can be used to put forward yourself or someone else from your own company, or to nominate a person or people in the trade that you admire or have feel have achieved that something extra special in the past year.
Nominations can be made by email directly to the editorial team at Professional Jeweller, who will be determining this year’s list. The Professional Jeweller Hot 100 2012 in association with the Company of Master Jewellers and supported by gold partner Ti Sento will be revealed at an exclusive invite-only party in London in September.
This year’s list will also be celebrated in a book filled with intimate interviews and original photography shot by leading fashion photographers who have worked on titles such as Harpers Bazaar, L’Officiel, Esquire and Time Out.
To nominate yourself or another for the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 2012 please email a Word document to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line HOT 100 NOMINATION that contains the following:
• Name/s of those individual/s being nominated
• Job title/s and company name
• A bullet point list of reasons why they should be considered for this year’s Hot 100. For example: business growth, store expansion, product development, effective new strategies, personal contribution to the jewellery industry, etc, from the past year.
Akin to the previous nomination processes, the nominations are not vote-based so you will only need to enter your nomination document once, and all nominations will be considered by the Professional Jeweller editorial team which retains the right to the final decision.
The Professional Jeweller Hot 100 is now in its third year and is a list of the 100 most influential, forward-thinking and innovative individuals and retail businesses in the UK jewellery industry. The Hot 100 2012 will be kept secret until the unveiling in September.
