Freemasons Hall welcomes top industry gems to the big reveal.

The wait was finally over last night as the Hot 100 2012 was revealed at a glittering event at London’s Freemasons Hall at a party for more than 700 invite-only guests to the big reveal of this year’s Hot 100 stars.

Guests arrived at the Art Deco hall where they enjoyed welcome drinks and a chance to network before the Hot 100 2012 was revealed in the dramatic setting of the Temple Hall.

As ever the Professional Jeweller Hot 100, in association with The Company of Master Jewellers and supported by Ti Sento, IJL and Tresor Paris, was split into five categories – Trendsetters, Retail Stars, Business Big Shots, Trailblazers and NexGems – showcasing the most hard working, innovative and exciting companies and individuals working in the UK jewellery industry.

At 9pm last night Professional Jeweller editor-in-chief Rachael Taylor took to the stage to welcome guests and congratulate the jewellery community for all of its hard work in 2012. With that, a special film reel revealing each of the Hot 100 stars was unveiled, showcasing this year’s Hot 100 and their stunning photographs.

The party then unfolded with guests taking turns to challenge one another on Pursuit’s six-lane scalextrics track and posing for photographers snapping for the Clogau Gold Best Dressed competition, which will be voted for through Professional Jeweller‘s Facebook page from tomorrow.
