Buying group offers members exclusive stock of Carrera Calibre 16.
UK jewellery and watch buying organisation the Houlden Group has announced a unique deal with TAG Heuer for its members, with the design of a limited edition watch.
The TAG timepiece has been made available exclusively for Houlden Group members to sell in their stores. The opportunity the the result of the Houlden Group’s supplier ambassador programme which aims to build stronger partnerships with key suppliers while exploring innovative ways of working together.
The watch, a Carrera Calibre 16 Chronograph, has a black carbon fibre effect dial and a stainless steel and curved sapphire crystal glass case with a black alligator strap with red stitching.
Houlden Group’s supplier ambassador for TAG Heuer, Barry McCahon from Lunns, said of the partnership: "Not only is this watch available exclusively for Houlden Group members, it is also a limited edition piece making it an immediate must-stock product. The watch itself is stunning but also very wearable and timeless. It is a terrific opportunity to stock a watch from a world renowned brand that cannot be bought from any rival jewellers."
Houlden member firm Beards was one of the first to get the watch in and sold two of them within hours. Alex Rose, managing director of Beards, which has stores in London and Cheltenham, said: "The TAG Heuer exclusive watch is a fantastic initiative and one of the real benefits of being a Houlden member. The watch proved to be extremely popular with our customers which is a good indicator that other members will have the same success.."
