Winning bridal set to be supplied exclusively to The Houlden Group.

The recently renamed Jewellery & Watch Birmingham will play host to a new bridal competition from the Houlden Group, offering one brand the chance to exclusively supply a bridal jewellery set to the buying group for a year.

The new jewellery competition has been created in conjunction with the show’s organiser i2i, and will select the first Houlden Bridal Design of the Year. The winner will be given the opportunity to have one of their designs sold through The Houlden Group’s network of retail stores.

The competition is open to all designers and manufacturers exhibiting at the Jewellery & Watch Birmingham show at the NEC between February 2 to 6 2014. Entrants are being asked to design an engagement and wedding ring set which will be exclusively supplied to The Houlden Group for one year.

The show will also welcome more than 700 designer jewellery and fine brands, including Alexis Dove, Babette Wasserman, Carat* London, Charmian Beaton Design, Clogau Gold, Kissing Diamonds, Dryberg Kern, Fable Jewels, Gecko, Hot Diamonds, Missoma, Pandora, Rachel Galley Jewellery Design and Tresor Paris.

A number of fashion watch brands have also confirmed their place at the show, including Lars Larsen Watches, Source Watches and Storm.

Jewellery & Watch Birmingham portfolio director Julie Driscoll said: “We have already secured a fantastic mix of the best jewellery and watch brands ahead of the February show and we are really excited about what is sure to be an amazing five days of jewellery and watch buying.”
