Hublot signs top skier Maria Riesch

New Aero Bang Garmisch watch launch to celebrate partnership.

Official timekeeper for the Alpine World Ski Championships Hublot has signed top skier Maria Riesch to act as its brand ambassador.

Ranked number 1 in the women’s World Cup classification, the double Olympic German skier joins two other alpine skiers, Bode Miller from the US and Dario Cologna from Switzerland, who both signed with the watchmaker last year.

To mark the occasion, Hublot will launch a white Aero Bang Garmisch watch – the first time the company has released a white watch. The skeleton structure of the snow white dial reveals the intricate mechanics of the HUB4214 Chronograph calibre. The vertical satin-finished steel case and bezel give an ice-cool effect, while the black rubber underlines the watch’s sporting connections.

The watch represents the company’s homage to Garmisch’s famous ski slopes, in particular the 3,700-metre long piste, which is the highest in Germany. The Alpine World Ski Championships take place from 7th to 29th of February in Garmisch, southern Germany.
