I Love a Lassie launches new collection for Historic Scotland

Scottish jewellery brand I Love a Lassie’s has created an exclusive new collection to celebrate its on-going relationship with Historic Scotland.

The brand has created a new range, Portcullis, inspired by the gates that have protected Scotland’s famous castles for centuries.

Historic Scotland was one of the first retail chains to open its doors to I Love a Lassie when the brand launched two years ago. After successfully trialling the Antique Lace and Bawbee Coin collections at the Crown Gift Shop in Edinburgh Castle, Historic Scotland is extending both ranges to Stirling Castle and are introducing the Bird’s Nest collection to their site at Iona Abbey.

Historic Scotland’s head of merchandising and product development, Natasha Troitino comments: “This exciting collaboration with I Love a Lassie sees Edinburgh Castle’s historic Portcullis depicted in a new way, through a range of bespoke designed jewellery. Drawing their inspiration from the castle’s gates, these truly unique pieces offer visitors a special contemporary keepsake of their visit.”

Director and co-founder of I Love a Lassie, Lisa McMyn adds: “Historic Scotland is one of our strongest supporters so we wanted to create something special for them. We’re delighted that they are so pleased with this new collection.”
