i2i Events Group announced last week the appointment of Kirsty Broere as the event manager for Jewellery & Watch.

Portfolio director Julie Driscoll says: “Jewellery & Watch has grown exponentially since becoming a standalone trade event in 2010. The 2016 event in February will exhibit over 700 jewellery and watch brands and see over 20,000 trade visitors attend. It is a dynamic and growing brand which required an event manager to drive even further organic growth. Kirsty will report into myself and I am delighted to be able to recognise such a talented individual.”

Jewellery & Watch sits within the jewellery and fashion portfolio at i2i events group which Driscoll heads up seeing five trade shows a year, representing over 1,600 customers.

Driscoll adds: “It is essential that Jewellery & Watch has a focused event manager to represent the brand and constantly be out in the market.”

Broere has worked at i2i since 2009 and with i2i’s retail portfolio since 2011 on Spring Fair, Autumn Fair and Jewellery & Watch. Broere comes from a strong events management background, previous to joining i2i and has lead business development on wealth management events. Broere has also worked for the organisers of the world’s most famous luxury exhibition Extravaganza in Moscow.
