International Bullion & Metal Brokers London Limited (IBB London) has been certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council’s (RJC) member certification system.

The Hatton Garden company, which manufactures and distributes 9ct and 18ct gold jewellery and branded collections including Missoma, Hoxton London and Lily & Lotty, was audited by Peter Warbrick from SGS, one of the independent third-party auditing firms accredited by the RJC. The company was found to have met the highest ethical, social and environmental standards established by the RJC’s Member Certification system.

Frank Kovacs, managing director of IBB London, said: "As a family owned and managed business, now spanning three generations, IBB has always taken its responsibilities to the jewellery trade very seriously. We applaud the work of the RJC in promoting best practices through all aspects of the industry.

"The directors and staff of IBB are extremely proud that our company has achieved RJC certification and view this as a reflection of our commitment to strong ethical values that will continue through future generations to come."
