International Jewellery London is now accepting submissions from industry professionals for its 2019 seminar programme.
Launched last year, the IJL Inspire Seminar Programme calls on members of the trade to take part in debates and have their insights shared in front of a global audience.
Last year the refreshed seminar programme opened the stage to discussions on a variety of topics from 3D printing with precious metals and lab-grown diamonds, to human rights in the jewellery supply chain and current trends, alongside practical sessions on how to transform high street stores to meet today’s consumer demands and get getting to grips with social media from a business point of view.
Following last year’s success, IJL is once again calling on the industry to submit seminar ideas.
IJL welcomes submissions from everyone across the jewellery industry, from retailers and suppliers, to emerging designers and gemmology experts.
The seminar slots are one hour, and these is no one set format for the programme, with IJL looking for a mix of panel discussions; one speaker talks; mini workshops and interactive events.
If you have an idea for a seminar that you would like to submit then complete a form on the trade show’s website, outlining the theme and format for your proposal, and the types of speaker/s you would enlist should you be successful.
The seminar submission form will be accessible via the IJL website until the deadline for submissions on the Thursday June 27.
IJL will consider submissions and let people know if they’ve been successful by the end of June.
For 2019, the seminars will take place in theatres across the show floor: the Inspiration Theatre, sponsored by Fairtrade Foundation, the Retail Theatre and the Catwalk Theatre.
