As this year’s IJL event reaches the half way mark exhibitors are finding that the quieter crowd offers some clear advantages.
While walking along the boulevard Professional Jeweller heard mumbling about how IJL 2017 is “slow” today.
When speaking to PJ Award sponsors MelanO it became clear that IJL 2017 is demonstrating quality over quantity. According to a variety of ground floor exhibitors there has been an increase in the amount of multi-buyers as single item sales have seen a dramatic decline at this year’s show.
UK sales director Micheline Graham told PJ: “Today has been less busy than yesterday, but we’re very very happy with our stand, our customers love it.
“We’re hoping to see the multiple buyers tomorrow.”
