IJL to welcome 100 new exhibitors as 90% of space is snapped up

Nearly 90% of stand space for the diamond jubilee edition of International Jewellery London (IJL) in September has been booked, as more than 100 new brands join the trade event at Olympia, London.

Many of the new companies come from worldwide destinations, including designers Ivanka Trump and Beverley K from the United States, Bykovs Jewelry House from Russia and Dezire’D Jewels from India.

They will be joined by returning designers Shaun Leane, Alex Munroe, Andrew Geoghegan and Sarah Jordan, together with key established brands such as Links of London, IBB London, Endless, Domino and Unique.

On the international side, there are also a number of high profile Country Pavilions on board, ranging from South Africa and Sri Lanka to Hong Kong and South Asia, together with the European Village.

Sam Willoughby, event director, commented: “The Olympia venue is the perfect venue to host our Diamond Jubilee Edition with a portfolio of over 550 companies from 37 countries and a number of exciting sponsors. As the ‘must visit’ event in the industry calendar, IJL will provide an inspirational global showcase for innovative brands and designers across every category, including the most impressive line-up of fine jewellery found anywhere in the UK”.

Alex Monroe has chosen IJL to re-launch its solid gold jewellery collection, Goldcrest, as well as present its fresh AW15 ranges, while Andrew Geoghegan will use IJL to showcase the company’s rebranding for the first time along with a spectacular Paraiba tourmaline cocktail ring.

Managing director Andrew Geoghegan commented: “IJL15 at Olympia will be the show where we really make our mark as a British Luxury Brand. Our rebrand, we promise, is innovative, confident and luxury – all what you have come to expect from AG. We chose IJL because it is the destination for the majority of the UK industry, so our new message will have the audience it deserves. Our expectations of the event are high and we will be showcasing our confident new look, including outstanding new point of sale and new designs. We look forward to engage our established retail network and develop new accounts.”

Elsewhere, IBB London will present a new range of fashion basics at the show and Unique will showcase its new leather charm bracelets.

In terms of this year’s sponsors, Bykovs Jewelry House has been named as sponsor of the Diamond Club Lounge; professional jewellery network Cadfolio will sponsor the IJL Champagne bar and Information Point; and Dezire’D Jewels will sponsor the lanyards.

Finally, Links of London and Folli Follie will sponsor the new IJL app, helping visitors to stay organised through exhibitor searches and seminar schedules.
