Charity bracelet auction to top off night of exhibitor exclusives.
International Jewellery London (IJL) has revealed details of its first ever late night shopping evening, held in conjunction with the British Jewellers’ Association (BJA), including a charity auction, a red carpet runway and ‘one night only’ offers and exhibitor exclusives.
A unique charm bracelet by Sarah Jordan, featuring charms designed by Shaun Leane, Tomasz Donocik, Andrew Goeghegan, Linda MacDonald, and Alexander Davis, will be the star of the charity auction, designed to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.
Also included in the auction will be one-off designs, yet to be launched pieces of jewellery and collectible pieces, presented by president of the British Jewellery Giftware and Finishing Federation (BJGF Federation) David Doyle
IJL event director Sam Willoughby said: "This late night shopping event will add glamour and glitz to the retailers pre-season Christmas shopping. They will be rewarded with lots of ‘one night only’ offers and exhibitor exclusives, as well as having the chance to invest in a great cause and maybe cast a winning bid in the charity auction. It will definitely be a night to remember."
Chief executive officer of the BJA, Simon Rainer, added: "We are delighted to be involved in this exciting project. It will showcase some of the leading designers in the industry and provide a real focal point to the first day of the show in its new venue".
The event will run between 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm with the auction taking place on the runway. This will be followed by the red carpet event showcasing dazzling evening wear pieces.
Donated pieces must be submitted for the auction by July 2 2014.
