More than 700 guests attend party at London’s One Mayfair.

Professional Jeweller unveiled this year’s Hot 100 last night at a glittering event held at London’s One Mayfair where more than 700 hand-picked guests from the British jewellery industry flocked to celebrate the best retail, design and business talent in the industry.

Guests were photographed at the entrance – galleries of which can be found online at Professional Jeweller – and sipped champagne, while posing for Clogau Gold’s Best Dressed Competition.

After speeches from Professional Jeweller editor-in-chief Rachael Taylor and Company of Master Jewellers chief executive Willie Hamilton, guests watched as the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 was unveiled, person-by-person, on a large screen and a curtain was raised to the roof, revealing a light box displaying the individual shots. Hard copies of the Hot 100 book were also handed out to the crowd.

Guests wowed with outfits, from an oversized cherry headpiece worn by Natasha Leith-Smith of Allumer, to the Tatty Devine team who were decked head-to-toe in their bright perspex creations. Juliet Hutton-Squire of jewellery trends analysis service Adorn Insight glittered in a vintage 1960s Navaho-print dress, while Willie Hamilton and Barrie Dobson battled it out for the accolade of most eye-catching jacket.

Speaking about the evening, NexGem from this year’s Hot 100 Leyla Abdollahi said: “The location was amazing, the entrance was brilliant and the evening was really good.”

The party continued into the late hours with music from Storm and guest DJ Sam Bathe from Fan the Fire Magazine.

During the party guests posed for photographers to take part in the Clogau Gold best-dressed competition. The winner of the competition will be hosted on Professional Jeweller’s Facebook page – the outfit with the most likes will win. The competition will go live later today.
