Across the four day trade show, Inhorgenta Munich enjoyed an increase exhibitors compared to last year, and welcomed a similar amount of visitors.
For the 2018 edition, which closed its doors on Monday, February 19, 27,000 trade professionals over 70 countries visited Inhorgenta Munich to discover new brands and jewellery trends. In total, the show
1,026 exhibitors from 42 countries participated in the trade show — an increase of 4% compared with the previous year.
The ‘Fine Jewellery’ segment in Hall B1 recorded 25 new exhibitors, including Vreden-based Niessing jewelry manufactory, the Danish design company Georg Jensen and the Italian jewellery manufacturer Piero Milano.
Klaus Dittrich, chairman and chief executive officer of Messe München, comments: “We had received consistently positive feedback for this Inhorgenta Munich, but also generally for the development of the trade show in the last few years.
“It is not an easy undertaking to take equal account of all needs of our exhibitors and visitors. I think we have excellently coped with this challenge.”
During the show Inhorgenta held the second edition of its annual awards ceremony, which attracted 500 guests.
