Last Night I Dreamt is a Nottinghamshire jeweller that has gained a great deal of traction in the few years since its inception.
Alex Monroe creative director Emma Burgin-Fox, who nominated owner Rebecca Gibbions, noted the jeweller’s impressive variety of stocked brands.
“She keeps her Southwell store looking beautiful with display window refreshes, and stocks with a fantastic selection of jewellery,” says Emma, “dropping in up-and-coming designers alongside long-term favourites, and at a wide mix of prices.”
The loyalty Rebecca has earned became apparent recently when the company’s Instagram account was hacked.
“Rebecca lost access to her followers,” Emma says, “and of course a very valuable revenue stream.
“Friends and followers rallied with support, though, and after two hugely stressful weeks the account was returned to its rightful owner.”
There is no end to where Rebecca could take the business, Emma says, if she sticks to her recipe of trusted brands, willingness to adapt, and “good old-fashioned customer service”.
