The Istanbul Jewelry Show 2020, set to take place in less than a month, has been rescheduled for 2021.

Its original dates of 8-11 October 2020 have been vacated, with the show now looking at a 7-10 October 2021 slot at the CNR Expo, Istanbul Fair Center.

This does not affect the Istanbul Jewelry Show’s March edition, still expected to go ahead 25-28 March 2021.

A statement from the organisers said: “As you can imagine this decision has been extremely difficult but after close consultation with the industry and our stakeholders we feel that we are unable to run an event that meets the very high standards we set ourselves and that you rightly expect.

“Whilst Informa are successfully running events using a set of standards designed to ensure they are safe we feel strongly that rescheduling to next year is the right thing to do given the uncertainty over international travel.”

This news comes after more than one postponement from the organisers already.

In March it was revealed that the 50th edition of the show (its March 2020 version) was expected to take place in June.

Then in April, as the pandemic progressed, the show was cancelled altogether. Read more below:
