Jacobs the Jeweller shortlisted for Reading Retail Awards

Reading-based independent retailer Jacobs the Jewellers has been nominated and shortlisted for two categories in the Reading Retail Awards 2015.

The first category is for ‘best promotional initiative’ and reflects the partnership program Jacobs put in place with three other local independent businesses: Workhouse Coffee Company, Nirvana Spa and 58 Barbershop. The partnership offers Jacobs’s customers a special thank you with artisan coffees and cakes, spa packages and male grooming in a specialist barbershop and reciprocally allows the partners access to new customers.

The second category is for the ‘best independent retailer’ for the Reading borough and acknowledges all the facets required to run a successful independent business be it retail, hospitality or service led.

Jacobs owner Adam Jacobs comments: “Jacobs is delighted to be recognised at this established regional event, the Reading Retail Awards. Our thanks to all the customers who voted for us, the judges for supporting the nominations and to the Jacobs team who work tirelessly to make the shop an enjoyable place to shop and work.”
