Clerkenwell-based Summer in the City show will feature 12 designers.

The Jewellery Designers’ Collective (JeDeCo) is set to host a pop-up exhibition during Jewellery Week next month called Summer in the City, launching on June 12 and running for five days.

The show will be hosted at Craft Central in London’s Clerkenwell and will feature 12 jewellery designers including Cara Tonkin, Sian Bostwick, Doreth Jones, Catherine Marche and Professional Jeweller Hot 100 NexGem Valeria Calvo, from Trisori.

The Summer in the City showcase will featured work that “evokes the heat, shade, colour and vibrancy of summer life in London”.

A release from JeDeCo said: “The jewellery collections are exquisitely crafted and refreshingly diverse and feature hot colours in mixed media, cool precious metals and stones, the geometry of the city’s skyline, and London’s summer wildlife.”

The designer will also be at the exhibition to meet visitors and talk them through the making of their collections.

A VIP evening will be hosted for the event on June 14.
