Jeremy France Jewellers secured the award for Independent Business of the Year at the Winchester Business Excellence Awards 2016.
Independent businesses gathered at Winchester’s Guildhall on Friday June 3 to attend the local award ceremony.
Rally driving champion Penny Mallory kicked off proceedings by telling stories from her successful racing career, and the Mayor of Winchester invited guests to join her in a three-course meal.
The award for ‘Independent Business of the Year’ was sponsored by the Winchester BID (Business Improvement District); a non-profit organisation that supports the local area and its businesses, working towards a greener, cleaner and safer city. Owner Jeremy France used to be the BID chairman.
The winner of the award had to have demonstrated to the judges that they could provide a ‘first class’ level of customer service, consistently excellent customer engagement, as well as the ability to adapt to consumer and trading trends.
Jeremy France invited his entire staff to join him at the ceremony.
Jeremy France Jewellers were also finalist in the ‘Service Excellence’ category.
