Jessica de Lotz creates Royal jewels for Smythson

Designer creates bespoke crest design for happy couple.

Quirky jewellery designer Jessica de Lotz has collabroated with Smythson to launch playful Kate & William inspired collection full of crowns and wax seals.

de Lotz was commissioned by the bespoke stationary company – of which Samantha Cameron was previous creative director – to create a playful, modern take on family crests "as an ode to Kate and Will." The collection was created with Smythson as part of their dedicated Royal Memorabilia exhibition, and continues de Lotz’s style of jewellery with a trinkety, vintage feel.

She used the opportunity to design bespoke crests to hand make a commemorative collection of wearable wax seal jewellery, which includes regal pins, medals and bangles with chunky wax seal charms. The range will be on show a Treasure, as part of London Jewellery Week, later this week.
