JewelEast kicks off at London Jewellery Week

Head to Spitalfields Market to meet jewellery’s freshest talents.

JewelEast kicks off today within east London’s striking Spitalfields Market, celebrating the best in up-and-coming, emerging jewellery design talent.

Debuting at London Jewellery Week (LJW) after a successful weekend event in March, JewelEast is a collaboration between LJW and Old Spitalfields Market. It will present an exciting and varied showcase of exciting new jewellery designers; there will be a combination of handmade designer jewellery, fabulous costume jewellery and vintage pieces.

The event runs all week from today, with market stalls hosted by individual designers. JewelEast will also include workshops, demonstrations and a catwalk event.

Della Tinsley, director of London Jewellery Week, said that JewelEast will satisfy the interests jewellery lovers, while providing an excellent opportunity for designers embarking on a career in the industry.

It has been timed for emerging designers to launch their brand ahead of the buying period in September. "Hopefully, JewelEast will be able to help launch the careers of some new stars into the jewellery world" said Tinsley.

Head to Liverpool Street station for Spitalfields Market, which is a short walk from the station.
