Ikuko Kurahone of fine jewellery brand iKuria said: “We are delighted we can do something socially responsible and to help children live a better life at the ground zero of the devastating earthquake and tsunami. However small our contribution might be, we will do our best.”

The six participating designers are iKuria, Jayce Wong, Momocreatura, Claire English, Niza Huang and Joana Cunha.

Both iKuria founder Kurahone and Momoko Tamura, the designer behind Momocreatura, are from Japan.
