Directors from the jewellery industry’s leading firms have been putting staff forward to be recognised in the 2020 Power List.

Since nominations opened a couple of weeks ago, suppliers and retailers have been quick to tell us about their unsung heroes who deserve a time in the spotlight for the role they play for bolster business.

From shop floor staff who have come up with innovative customer events to apprentices that have become leading designers for UK manufacturers, a range of talents have been recognised by their employees so far.

And of course, staff have been paying the favour and putting forward their bosses too.

Professional Jeweller’s 2020 Power List, due to be published in May, is a celebration of individuals from jewellery retailers and suppliers who are blazing a trail in the market.

Maybe they are a managing director or regional manager of a major jewellery brand, leading the company by example. Or perhaps they are an admin assistant working in the back office of an independent jeweller retailer, who is integral to the business.

Whatever the role, the list will be shining the spotlight on movers and shakers who are pushing boundaries, and playing their part in keeping business booming even during more difficult times on the high street.

Those who wish to nominate somebody just need to fill in a very simple entry form giving a few details about what makes that individual stand out. The nomination process closes March 27, 2020.

The Power List is split into the following categories:

– Retail Titans
