Usually held in person at its showroom in Kew Gardens, this virtual event was supported by live demonstrations and close-ups of sample selections.

The supplier held a full week of appointments with retailers by video link, ensuring continuity, trust and support is provided during an uncertain week, following UK lockdown announcements.

TLKE, alongside the name brands it represents, said it is aiming to promote collaboration in all it does as a way of moving forward.

One retailer commented: “That was my first buy appointment virtually and it was a lot better than I thought it would go in terms of really seeing the product – it gives me hope for the season to come.”

In the midst of the trials of 2020, this year has been a marked success for brands like Lauren Ralph Lauren, with significant sales growth across Europe, TLKE reported.

TLKE founder, Teresa Timberlake, said: “Customers at the moment are seeking timeless, classic investment pieces from brands with a strong identity, ones they know and trust.”

TLKE found jewellery to be a strong success in 2020, with a marked growth in earring and wristwear popularity, reflecting current consumer demands.

The market week showcased a range of styles, with signature Lauren Ralph Lauren styles in tortoise and gold, nautical-inspired styles dusted with refined crystal micropave, and watercolour-inspired feminine silhouettes in romantic colourways.

DKNY showed a colourful collection inspired by the spirit of NYC, with feminine motifs and charms, and clean versatile classics in metallic finishes.

TLKE holds a diverse portfolio of world-class brands and its commitment to these brands gives it a unique position in the UK & larger European marketplace.
