The NAJ has partnered with leading security and technology providers across the industry to host a technology and security showcase in Birmingham.

Following the success of its exhibit in London earlier this year, the NAJ will now give jewellery professionals a chance to see the exhibit in Birmingham tomorrow (Weds 19) at the Federation House.

The showcase will feature industry-leading providers that will show machinery in action and the latest innovations, which can protect professionals and their staff, streamline the manufacturing processes and add value to any jewellery business.


Exhibitors include: Betts Metals, Cadfolio, Coherent-Rofin, EnvisionTEC, Freeform Fabrication Ltd, Formlabs 3D printers, Gemvision, Goldmark UK, GRS, GVUK Design, Lampert PUK, Safergems, SelectaDNA, StoneHawk, Solutionix 3D scanners, T H March, The National Association of Jewellers, Warrior Doors and Watchdog.

Furthermore, Lee Wallace, senior account manager at T H March and chairman of the Association of Insurance Surveyors will be giving a talk on why you should think like a criminal.

Following an increase in armed jewellery store robberies, experts warn now is a good time to check security is up to date and staff are well trained.

The showcase will take Wednesday, Sept 19, 9.30-4.30 at Birmingham’s Federation House.
