Jewellery Meetup returns with Cornerstone talk

Third networking event to feature Paul Spurgeon and Nqobile Nkosi.

The third London Jewellery Meetup (LJM) will take place on July 16, offering members of the UK jewellery industry a chance to network for free with designers, retailers and manufacturers.

The third LJM will take place at the Sir Christopher Hatton pub in Hatton Garden with special guests Paul Spurgeon and Nqobile Nkosi of Cornerstone, a project aimed that empowered disadvantaged and marginalised people of all ages in Africa. Cornerstone has launched a training and employment programme based on jewellery manufacture and has lead to the opening first jewellery shop in the township of Soweto.

Nkosi, a jewellery designer, manufacturer and entrepreneur himself, will be visiting from Soweto and will talk at London Jewellery Meetup where he will take attendees on his journey into jewellery manufacturing to the development of Cornerstone with Paul Spurgeon.

The event is free to attend and guests can register by heading to the dedicated London Jewellery Meetup site, here. Doors will open at 6.30pm with a chance for guests to network, share advice and tips and get to know other members of the jewellery industry in London and beyond.
